A Beacon of Hope in Liberia’s Corruption Fight -Liberia Makes Slow but Steady Gain in Corruption Index.
The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) wishes to inform the public that according to the Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index (CPI), for the first time in 7 years Liberia has moved two points up the CPI Ladder from a score of 25 in 2023 to 27 in 2024.
This development reflects the ongoing national efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance.
While this progress is encouraging, we recognize that more work remains in the fight against corruption. We reaffirm our commitment to strengthening institutional frameworks, enforcing anti-corruption laws, and fostering public trust in governance.
We urge all stakeholders including government agencies, civil society, the private sector, and citizen to continue working together to ensure a more transparent and accountable Liberia.
Together, we can build a corruption-free society where integrity and justice prevail.
