President Joseph N. Boakai Declares Assets
Monrovia, Liberia – The President of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph N. Boakai on Thursday, publicly declared his assets at the head office of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission in Congo Town.
The President was met upon arrival by the Body of Commissioners headed by the Executive Vice Chairperson, Mr. Ernest Hughes.
In a very short ceremony, the Vice Chairperson welcomed the President and informed him that all asset forms received are treated in the strictest confidentiality the files are kept in fireproof filing cabinets and there is very limited access to the files.
Mr. Hughes said that the Body of Commissioners looks forward to meeting with the President to present him with the work plan of the LACC which includes prevention methods and the decentralization of the Commission.
