The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has received from the General Auditing Commission (GAC) assessment reports from the National Oil Company (NOCAL)
The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has received from the General Auditing Commission (GAC) assessment reports from the National Oil Company (NOCAL); the National Public Health Institute of Liberia and the COVID-19 report.
The GAC forwarded a Financial Statement Audit Reports of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL). The Audit Report cover fiscal years 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, respectively.
The General Audit Commission also conducted an audit covering a five months (February 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020) of the Incident Management System (IMS) COV-19 Response.
And finally, the GAC submitted a report on the financial statements audit of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) for the fiscal period 01 July 2017 to 30 June 2018.
The LACC is currently reviewing these reports to established probable cause to launch a full scale investigation.
The report named persons of interest in which the LACC will be inviting to share additional information and other clarification on their respective reports. The invitation to these individuals is in no way an indictment or accusation nor to put them to public ridicule.
The LACC therefore encourages these individuals to cooperate by kindly presenting themselves when called upon to do so.
