Earlier this year, LRA Commissioner General Mr. James Dorbor Jallah issued a directive mandating all LRA staff to declare their assets to the LACC, recognizing the importance of transparency in a revenue-generating institution that must lead by example. That exercise has now concluded, and the results are historic.
The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) joined Integrity Institutions, Civil Society Actors, Development Partners, and the Office for the Establishment of the War and Economic Crimes Court (OWECC-L) in a pivotal dialogue focused on collaboration and complementarity in closing Liberia’s long-standing accountability gap particularly through the establishment of a National Anti-Corruption Court.
In a bold step toward deepening good governance at the grassroots level, the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), in partnership with UNDP under the Social Accountability Project, has successfully concluded a three-day anti-corruption training in Ganta, Nimba County. The training began on Tuesday, July 1st and ended on Thursday, July 3rd. The training brought together local government officials and civil society representatives from Bong, Lofa, and Nimba counties under the theme:
“Strengthening Local Government through Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability.”
Throughout the three days, participants were empowered with tools, knowledge, and strategies to lead with purpose, serve with accountability, and rebuild public trust in local systems.

Sixty students from Tubman High School and the Monrovia Open Bible Standard School participated, gaining insight on integrity, accountability, and civic responsibility.
