The report serves as an important evidence-based tool for informing public policy, strengthening accountability, and advancing governance reforms in Liberia.
CENTAL launched the 2025 State of Corruption Report (SCORE) today, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Royal Grand Hotel in Monrovia. Serving as the official launcher, the Executive Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), Cllr. Alexandra K. Zoe, described the publication as a valuable contribution to Liberia’s anti-corruption efforts.
Cllr. Zoe commended CENTAL for its commitment to evidence-based research and constructive civic engagement, noting that the report provides reliable data to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and guide reforms. She said the report recognizes gains made in strengthening anti-corruption institutions while highlighting areas requiring sustained attention.
Reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to its statutory mandate, Cllr. Zoe emphasized that defeating corruption requires collective action, strong political will, and active citizen participation. She also called for continued collaboration among integrity institutions, civil society, and development partners to strengthen transparency, accountability, and good governance across Liberia.
Officially launching the report, Cllr. Zoe encouraged policymakers, public institutions, civil society organizations, and all Liberians to use its findings and recommendations as a roadmap for advancing governance reforms and rebuilding public trust.
