The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) Continued its Education & Prevention Awareness Activities today in Kakata City, Margibi County, Engaging Students in Meaningful Conversations About Integrity, Accountability, and Ethical Leadership

Day Two of the “Integrity and Accountability Now Clubs” Training Workshop, held at the Cuttington University Junior College, brought together students eager to deepen their understanding of character-driven leadership. The session created a space for honest reflection on how trust, responsibility, and personal values shape the leaders they are becoming.

Representing the office of the Executive Chairperson, Executive Assistant Vivian S. Akoto encouraged participants to allow integrity to guide the choices they make daily, reminding them that true leadership begins long before titles and positions. She urged the students to be intentional about the values they embrace now, as these values will influence the kind of impact they will have in society.

The Program Manager for Education & Prevention, John E. Tommy, also underscored the importance of cultivating accountable habits early. He emphasized that accountability is not an act reserved for adulthood, but a discipline that must be nurtured from the classroom to the community.

As more schools across Margibi County join the growing network of Integrity Clubs, the LACC remains committed to shaping young people into champions of transparency. Through programs like this, the Commission continues to inspire a generation determined to uphold integrity not just in public spaces, but in their personal decisions and daily interactions.

The journey continues building leaders, strengthening values, and planting the seeds of an accountable Liberia.
