Yesterday, Harper City witnessed an impressive turnout for the anti-corruption awareness program, highlighting Harper's strong commitment to transparency and integrity. The event was graced by the presence of the county superintendent, along with his entire administrative staff, creating a united front against corruption.

During the program, participants engaged in spirited discussions, with a significant number advocating for the decentralization of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC). This recommendation reflects a desire for greater local governance and accountability in anti-corruption efforts.

Following the main sessions, the Asset Declaration team remained on-site to assist public officials in completing their asset declarations, addressing questions, and providing guidance to ensure compliance with the regulations. The program also featured a special session with the senior management team of Tubman University. During this meeting, university leadership formally expressed their robust support for LACC's initiatives in the county and reinforced their commitment to adhering to asset declaration requirements.

The day's activities culminated in an engaging interactive session at the Adul Salam Intellectual Center, where community members were encouraged to ask questions and share insights, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for future efforts against corruption in the region. The success of today's program underscores the importance of ongoing education and outreach in building a transparent and accountable governance framework within the community.
