The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) Confirms that Three Individuals Mr. Peter Taylor, Mr. Alieu Kamara, and Mr. Moiselekie K. Duwana have Been Remanded at the Voinjama Central Prison
The three were indicted by the LACC following an investigation that linked them to acts of financial malpractice at the Lofa County University (LCU). Their detention follows their failure to file a valid criminal appearance bond since September 6, 2025.
The decision was made during the Court’s November Term sitting, after the defendants made their initial appearance before His Honor Pape Suah, Assigned Circuit Judge in Voinjama. The matter was brought to the Court’s attention through the intervention of the LACC Chief Prosecutor, Cllr. Bobby Livingstone.
The LACC reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that individuals accused of corruption are held accountable in accordance with the laws of the Republic. The Commission remains steadfast in its mission to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability across all public institutions in Liberia.
