A team of Liberian experts from the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) participated in the country visit to Albania from October 8-11. This visit is part of the Second Cycle Review of the Mechanism for the Review of Implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), an initiative coordinated by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The team was led by Vivian Akoto, Executive Assistant/Program Manager to the Office of the Executive Chairperson, and included John E. Tommy, Prevention Officer, and Patricia Barnaby, Asset Declaration & Verification Officer.
The LACC has been actively involved in the review of Albania's implementation of the UNCAC. This process, guided by Resolution 3/1 and Resolution 6/1, highlights Liberia's commitment to the international fight against corruption and further strengthens our ties in the global anti-corruption community.
