Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission Meets with INL Criminal Justice Expert Madam Linda Mayberry
We are pleased to share that the Executive Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), Cllr. Alexandra Kormah Zoe and Dr. Miatta Jeh, Oversight Commissioner of Monitoring and Investigation Department, recently had a productive meeting with Madam Linda Mayberry, the INL Criminal Justice Subject Matter Expert, during her visit to the US Embassy in Liberia.
Madam Mayberry saw it wise to engage in discussions with our Commission, focusing on law enforcement and related issues critical to our mission. This engagement underscores the importance of international collaboration in our fight against corruption.
During the meeting, we explored various topics including the current state of law enforcement in Liberia and the pivotal role of the LACC in promoting transparency and accountability. Madam Mayberry will be conducting a thorough assessment of current INL Law Enforcement programs and identifying key areas where INL assistance should be concentrated in the future.
We are optimistic that this collaboration will further strengthen our efforts in combating corruption and enhancing law enforcement practices in Liberia.
