Religious Leaders Urge To Preach Transparency

The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission with support from the USAID-LPAC has held a two-day ethics meeting with stakeholders in Liberia on the need for religious institutions to preach anti-corruption messages in the country.

Speaking at the opening of the event, LACC’s Executive Chairperson Cllr. James N. Verdier informed participants that religious leaders should not allow their centers to be used as conduits for dirty money.

At the close of the meeting, participants drew out a communique that would ensure continue collaboration and for religious leaders to preach anti-corruption messages in their churches and mosques.
