LIPA CONDUCTS FINANCIAL CRIME AND INTENSIVE REPORT WRITING FOR LACC STAFF

Monday, May 31, 2021:  The Liberia Institute for Public Administration (LIPA) on Saturday, May 29 2021, ended a two week training on “FINANCIAL CRIMES & INTENSIVE REPORT WRITING” held for staff of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) in Domah Town, Margibi County.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Leamah Cooper II who is a staff at the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) lectured on Financial Crimes & Investigative Gathering; while Mr. David Karlee Swen and Mr. P. Sayon Tugbeh, both of LIPA lectured on Nature of Field Reporting; and Features and Types of Internal Memorandum.

The facilitators admonished the LACC to show great effort in dealing with all of the presentations displayed in investigating corruption.

Speaking at the end of the training, Senior Investigator Augustine S. Mehn on behalf of the staff expressed gratitude for the training which he noted serves as added knowledge to key areas in Financial Crimes & Intensive Report writing.

He lauded the facilitators for their splendid presentations and also thanked the organizer Liberia Institute for Public Administration (LIPA} for the opportunity given to participate in such rewarding training.

This was the second in the series of training for staff of the LACC facilitated by LIPA. About 20 staff from the LACC have benefited from the training.
