The Executive Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission has officially launch student Integrity Clubs in Liberia schools.
The launching took place at the William VS Tubman High School in Monrovia with ten (10) schools participating from Margibi, Bomi and Montserrado counties.
Launching the clubs, Cllr. Verdier advised students to refrain from behaviors that undermine their learning process. He said integrity was a key attribute of a good and responsible citizen.
He encouraged students to be accountable, courageous and transparent in their dealings with fellow students and administration.
The project supported by UNMIL Quick Impact project brought together more than 100 students. Schools selected for the event include the LANCO LIPPAY HIGH SCHOOL(MARGIBI), DOLO TOWN PUBLIC SCHOOL(MARGIBI) AND HARBEL MULTILATERAL HIGH SCHOOL. In Bomi county, the CH Dewey High School, Getrude Yancy High and Sime Darby Public School formed part of the event. Schools from Montserrado include: William V.S. Tubman High School, D-Tweh High School, Paynesville high School and G.W. Gibson high School.
