LACC Extends Anti-Corruption Education To Public Corporations

The Liberia Anti-corruption commission has launched anti-corruption education in public corporations across the country.

Speaking at one of the events, The LACC’S Commissioner responsible for education and prevention, Aba Hamilton-Dolo said the LACC is interested in getting basic anti-corruption education to strategic public institutions in the country. Madam told a gathering at the National Port Authority, that the process will help institutions in their internal control processes and mitigate the occurrence of fraud, waste and abuse in these institutions.

The Commission conducted education programs at the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation(NASSCORP), Liberia Electricity Corporation(LEC) and the National Port Authority(NPA).

The exercise is expected to continue after the transitional process in the country is over.
